corporate secretary
the glue that holds an entire corporation together
The increasing complexity of the work environment is forcing companies to devote significant time and resources to comply with the changing laws, regulations and stakeholders demands.
In the EU the various roles of the Corporate Secretary are not integrated yet into the company’s structure while, in the Anglo-Saxon countries, company laws are requiring for the appointment of a Corporate Secretary for each single Plc. In the UK, as a result of the Companies Act (2006), the post is highly recommended though optional for private companies.
